The 2022 Arctic Cat M8000 Hardcore Alpha One is a mountain snowmobile developed for technical terrain, steep climbs and deep-snow exploration. At the heart of the M8000 Hardcore is Arctic Cat’s 794 cc C-TEC2 two-stroke twin. Electronic fuel injection and electronically controlled exhaust valves help deliver crisp response across changing elevations and operating conditions. For 2022, the ADAPT CVT system was engineered to maintain consistent belt tension and smooth power transfer while reducing rotating mass.

The Alpha One rear suspension uses a single central beam rather than a conventional twin-rail layout. This allows the track to flex and conform to the snow, helping the sled initiate sidehills, change direction and navigate tight lines with less rider effort.
